Mallacoota Streetscape Upgrade

Project Summary

As part of Victoria’s Disaster Recovery Plan, an upgrade of the streetscape within Mallacoota town centre was identified as a social and economic priority project for the township. GPM have established and are facilitating key stakeholder Project Control and Reference Groups to shepherd the project through the community lead recovery process from inception to completion.

Township circulation and wayfinding strategies have been developed for traffic, cyclists and pedestrians in order to drive the advancement of the new town centre and low/medium/high intervention concept designs with project budget overlays have been created for community consultation to enable an inclusive optioneering process. Final concept designs were cost planned due to statewide cost escalations and final concept design adjustments made accordingly; ready for detailed design tendering and completion.
